JOIN THE 2009 RUN FOR RESEARCH MARATHON TEAM
The American Liver Foundation's Run for Research® (RFR) is one of the oldest and largest marathon teams in the Boston Athletic Association's official charity program. For over two decades we have helped thousands of runners train for and compete in the historic Boston Marathon while raising critical funds in the fight against liver disease.
In 2008, our 248 runners raised over $1.1 million in critical funds for the American Liver Foundation. Whether you are a first-time marathoner or a running veteran, we invite you to join this extraordinary group of volunteers from all over the United States as we set our sights even higher for the 113th Boston Marathon on April 20, 2009.

Run for Research is a running team that wins every time. Coordinated by the New England Chapter of the American Liver Foundation, the team promotes awareness of liver disease and raises money to fund critical liver research. By collecting contributions from friends, family, colleagues and others, RFR runners earn the privilege to compete in the world's most prestigious running event, the Boston Marathon®.
